Founded in 1943, the Grand River Conservation Club has been a cornerstone of the Portland, Michigan community for over 80 years. What started as a small group of outdoor enthusiasts has grown into a thriving, member-run organization dedicated to preserving our natural heritage and promoting responsible outdoor recreation.
Our mission is clear: to promote the conservation of wildlife and habitats, teach safe and responsible firearms handling, host shooting events and training programs, maintain world-class club facilities and ranges, and foster a welcoming community where families can enjoy the outdoors together.
